There’s much to like about the VSHSystem-developed Easy QR Maker application; it is quite easy to use, it provides support for numerous QR and barcodes, it allows you to encode and decode QR codes, you can save the code as a variety of image files, and you can even send codes to popular micro-blogging service Twitter.

To get started with Easy QR Maker, you will have to download an archive, extract and run the executable inside, then click through the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. It is a standard setup process really, one that will not take much of your time and will not require a lot of effort.

The application’s interface is divided into two sections. The one to the left presents the info you want to include in the QR code; the one to the right presents a preview of the QR code. Above and below these two sections there are buttons for accessing various bits of functionality the application has to offer. I found the interface to be user friendly and I got accustomed to it in no time at all.

As mentioned above, you can use Easy QR Maker to encode and decode QRT codes.
For encoding purposes, the application supports the following: QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF 417, Bookland/ISBN, Codabar, Code 11, Code 128, Code 128-A, Code 128-B, Code 128-C, Code 39, Code 39 Extended, Code 93, EAN-13, EAN-8, FIM, Interleaved 2 of 5, ITF-14, LOGMARS, MSI 2 Mod 10, MSI Mod 10, MSI Mod 11, PostNet, Standard 2 of 5, Telepen, UPC 2 Digit Ext., UPC 5 Digit Ext., UPC-A, UPC-E.
For decoding, it supports the following: UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, QR Code, ITF, Codabar, RSS-14, Data Matrix, PDF 417, Aztec, PNG, BMP, JPEG, GIF, and TIFF.

Using the application is a very simple matter: enter the info you want the code to include, preview your work, save the code as an image file – JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, or TIFF. If you want to, you can send the code to Twitter.

Easy QR Maker can be used for free for a trial period of 7 days. The trial puts a watermark on the output and does not allow you to access certain functions (like the abovementioned option to send the code to Twitter.)

Generate any QR code you want with the greatest of ease – that’s what you can do with the Easy QR Maker application.

Pros

Little time and effort will go into getting Easy QR Maker up and running. The application’s interface is intuitive and easy to use. Easily generate QR codes, save them as image files, or send them to Twitter. Numerous formats are supported for encoding and decoding.

Cons

Free to try for 7 days; watermark on output; some functions are not available in the trial.
